Basic Skill Skaters of all levels enrolled in the Ice Midwest Skate School "Learn To Skate Program" through Pre-Juvenile Test are welcome to come practice.
Mondays
4 pm - 5 pm.
Skate Rental Free.

All Skill Levels Basic 4 and above.
Winter Session: January 3 - February 21 $224 - 8wks
Spring Session: February 28 - April 18 $196 - 7 wks

Developmental Program Format:
Skaters are divided into groups based on ability level.
Skaters rotate every 20 minutes for a group lesson in:
4:00 pm - 4:20 pm
Moves in the Field/Endurance and Speed Drills
Groups will be divided:
* Group 1: Intro to Moves in Field including Mastering the "Basic Eights"
* Group 2: Pre-Preliminary/Preliminary MIF
* Group 3: PreJuvenile and higher
Movement in Artistry/Ice Dance Steps
(Offered periodically as part of MIF time slot)
4:20 pm - 4:40 pm Spins
Groups divided:
* Group 1: Intro to Spins for Basic Skills Skaters
* Group 2: Basic Solo Spins
* Group 3: Combinations, Flying and Levels of Difficulty Spins
4:40 pm - 5:00 pm
Jumps
Groups will be divided:
* Group 1: Intro to Jumps for Basic Skills Skaters
* Group 2: Single jumps
* Group 3: Axel and Double jumps

Music Program and Practice Sessions

Snowplow Sam through Basic Skill FS Level 6 Skaters
Sign up for Choreography Lessons
The skater will learn his/her very own skating program choreographed to music of his/her choice. It makes practicing more fun and the skater may choose to compete in up coming competitions.
