Boy Scouts Ice Skating Merit Badge Program

Boy Scouts are welcome to ice skate on Mondays from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm on the Figure Skating Elite Practice Session or during any scheduled Pepsi Ice Midwest Public Skating Session, or on Rink C, a small intimate size ice surface, on any available 1 hr time slot any day during the week and weekends.
The one hour of ice time includes 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of instruction. Scouts will learn the fundamentals of ice skating and work toward fulfilling their individual Ice Skating Merit Badge.
Boy Scouts may choose to meet one time or arrange for a 2-5 week session that meets weekly, allowing the scout to master the required skills for their badge.
If they have already earned the requirement towards their badge, they are always welcome to get together for a session of ice skating with their fellow Boy Scouts and practice their skating skills with or without instruction.
Scouts may also purchase a Pepsi Ice Midwest Activity Badge for participating. ($2 cost per badge)
The fees are: $5 Per Boy Scout
$40 for Instructor
